Governments Can Use eBay Giving Works, Too
- Does your public school, local library or state agency need extra funds to supplement this year’s budget? Do you have end-of-life assets that need to be liquidated? Then your organization should try eBay Giving Works – it’s a terrific funding solution for government agencies.
-
Liquidate extra assets and generate revenue.
- If your agency or department regularly sells procured assets to generate funds, why not try selling those things on eBay? There are millions of eBay buyers looking for great deals on anything you can sell: from office furniture to school buses, and beyond. Plus, the eBay Giving Works Fee Credit policy means that eBay will give back your basic selling fees on anything you sell. It’s practically free for governments to sell on eBay.

-
eBay users can donate to you, too.
- Governments can receive donations just like nonprofits can
, and eBay Giving Works is about more than just selling: other eBay users can donate to your agency, too. - Schools, encourage your parents to clean out their closets and donate part or all of the sale with eBay Giving Works, or hold a virtual yard sale and encourage them to donate goods to you for selling.
- Librarians, give your patrons a way to support your services through buying and selling on eBay.
- Or they can simply make an immediate donation via PayPal to you through Donate Now.
