- First Art Source Auctioning Pop Art Prints for HIV/AIDS Assistance
- Chattanooga, Tennessee, November 27, 2007 — First Art Source, through eBay Giving Works, is auctioning hundreds of Pop Art prints during the month of December to benefit Chattanooga CARES, an organization focused on AIDS education, prevention, and support. “We believe that it is our responsibility as a prominent member of the eBay community to lead by example by giving something back to our local community during the holiday season,” said Howie Burger, owner of First Art Source.
- Featured items include Andy Warhol’s Marilyn Monroe prints, Warhol’s Campbell’s Soup art, as well as the prints from Warhol’s Untitled Cats series. The artwork to be auctioned retails from between $7.50 up to $900, with starting bids starting as low as $5.00. A percentage of the proceeds from every item will be donated to Chattanooga CARES through eBay Giving Works and MissionFish. The weekly auctions will start the first week of December and run until just before Christmas.
