- A note about car sales on AutoTrader, Craigslist
- Recently we have received reports of our name being used in association with fraudulent listings on websites like AutoTrader and Craigslist. Please note: MissionFish does not ever have items in our possession or sell them directly on any website (even on eBay). We also do not provide our service for AutoTrader or Craigslist, and therefore we do not facilitate donations on those sites.
- If you have purchased an item online and are contacted for payment by someone claiming to be MissionFish, please do not send money to anyone. If you suspect that you have encountered a fraudulent listing, feel free to contact our Community Care team. You should also file a complaint right away with the Internet Crime Complaint Center,
providing as much detail as possible about the "seller." - We are working directly with Craigslist, AutoTrader, and law enforcement to pull down fraudulent listings and pursue the perpetrators of this crime. We always encourage caution in large online purchases, and appreciate your help in preventing online fraud.
